Creating a Turtle Baby
Nursery Theme

The nursery walls can be painted white or a nice shade that complements your turtle bedding. You could also purchase turtle wall border and add it to the walls around the top or the center of the room. Another idea is to buy a turtle stencil and stencil turtles on the walls.

A more colorful idea is to paint the top half blue like the ocean, have a turtle wall border around the center and then paint to bottom half a shade of turtle green. On the blue top half of the wall, apply turtle decals so it looks like the turtles are swimming in the ocean.

You could also create a turtle mural on one of the walls. There are kits you can buy and apply to the wall to create a mural or you can paint (or hire someone to paint) one on the wall.



Finish off your turtle baby nursery theme with turtle nursery accessories including a turtle crib mobile, lamp, window valance, and diaper stacker. A turtle night light would also be a cute accent to the room. For an special touch, you can add turtles to the furniture by stenciling them on the crib, dresser, bookcase, and toy box. A turtle rug will accent the floor nicely. Find some cute turtle themed art work for the walls. Wall art with an ocean theme will also work nicely.
