Install a Closet Organizer
You should seriously consider installing a closet organizer especially if you have a small closet. This will provide you with more shelves for storing all the baby’s items as well as extra hanging space for hanging all the clothing that won’t go in dresser.
Finding a Place for Everything
Begin organizing the nursery closet by hanging all the clothes that you do not plan to keep in the dresser. You will need to purchase baby hangers for this. They are a lot smaller than standard hangers(which are much too big for little outfits).
Also get a shoe rack that goes on the floor or hangs inside the closet to keep shoes matched together and organized. This will make it easy for you to locate exactly the pair you need when ever you are dressing the baby.
Purchase some wicker baskets or plastic storage containers to store items on the closet shelves. You may want to label each container so that you can easily find what you are looking for when you need it.
